How can I improve my fluency?

Here are three tips that are easy to do and actually work.

• Speak out aloud as you are cleaning your house. Say what you are doing – as you fold your laundry, as you vacuum the lounge – all in English!
• Record yourself and play it back so you can hear what you sound like.
• Listen to podcasts. No matter what your interest is, you can find a podcast about it. Listening is an important part of learning a language, and you need to practise it!
